My Favorite Coworking Spaces in Valencia (for People Who Actually Work)
Let’s be real: not all coworking spaces are created equal.
Some look cute on Instagram but close at 3pm. Others feel like a corporate prison disguised as a WeWork. And don’t even get me started on the places that act as if they're doing you a favor, not like you're paying for this service.
As someone who works internationally and often needs a full workday (including gasp after lunch hours), I’ve tested a bunch of coworking spots around Valencia—and these are the ones I actually love.
Here’s the shortlist I keep coming back to when I need a space that’s inspiring, practical, and doesn’t leave me locked out after siesta. In no particular order:
🧡 CoworkUp (Puerta del Mar/Ruzafa)
Absolutely love this place.
Bright, cozy, and just the right amount of social.
The team is super friendly, and the vibe is creative but not chaotic.
You’ll find freelancers, small biz owners, and people who actually show up to work (without pretending it’s Burning Man).
If you’re looking for a coworking space that feels personal and human, not just another desk factory—CoworkUp hits the mark. Bonus points if you want a quiet space; they have call booths to not disturb the peace, they also organize events to meet everyone else and their Slack channel is chef's kiss.
🧡 Nomade (Ei Example)
Beautiful design, calming atmosphere, and smells *amazing*
Women-led and they clearly care about the experience (and the people)
Perfect location close to Mercado Colon.
I've been a couple of times with the girls from the Fridays coworking event, Daniela has always been super nice, I still have pending to organize a cuple of events with them.
🧡 Bica (Ruzafa)
Small, but high-level.
Thoughtful space with a boutique vibe, the lighting, I'm obsessed
Quiet but not too quiet—just right for focused work
They’ve managed to make it feel welcoming without turning it into a social club
The location is in the heart of Ruzafa, absolutely perfect
They're new but filling out fast, also women-led. They offer something I've been praying for for 2 years: 24/7 access! So, if you have weird hours and need a nice space with comfy chairs and gorgeous desks to work from, this is the place for you.
🧡 Sabadell Hub (Puerta del Mar)
Ok yes, super corporate looking—but hear me out.
It's free if you have a business bank account with Sabadell.
Super reliable, great Wi-Fi, spacious desks and private meeting rooms you can book for your self or your team.
Air conditioning that works (essential in Valencia summers)
Downside is it's only open from 9am-2pm
It's where most of the Friday Coworking Events take place and it's really helpful to keep us productive because it's a quiet space without making it weird, you know what I mean?
😬 Honorable Mentions (aka Why They Didn’t Make the List)
🚫 Wayco
Honestly? Feels too salesy/corporate. The space is polished, yes—but it’s giving tech bro startup energy, and not in a good way. Great if you’re into networking with digital nomads tho and people in town for just a little bit. Not great if you want connection, flexibility, or creativity. Or support local businesses.
🚫 Others I Won’t Name
Let’s just say… some coworkings around here close for lunch, don’t open until 10am, or have zero flexibility for people with international clients.
Also: bad customer service should not be a Valencia aesthetic. (But unfortunately, it is in more places than you’d expect.)
Final Thoughts: What I Look for in a Coworking Space
✅ Extended hours (none of that “we close from 1–3” nonsense)
✅ Friendly, helpful staff
✅ Quiet enough to focus, but not soul-sucking
✅ International-friendly
✅ A little personality doesn’t hurt either
If you’re working with clients across time zones—or you just want to get things done in peace—Valencia can deliver. You just need to know where to look.
These four spaces get my stamp of approval. And if you ever want to do a little coworking date? You know where to find me. 😉
